Maybe because of the weather, that seems to invoke the Autumn, maybe for the proximity of the project's deadline, I feel everything different this week. Holidays good vibes gone suddenly away in order to make way to work and studies again.

In order to prototype our ideas, we have been driven to Fray Bentos UTEC Campus. It was tired but worthwhile at once thanks to the fantastic tips that Alejandro gave us to carry on with our Guayabito's game.

On Friday afternoon, I met Santi Tavella, a member of my beloved Cuarteto de Nós, to give me the latest work with his other band (Los embajadores del buen gusto) and chat for a while. It must have been so excitig that a few hours after I fell sick because of a stomach bug. Saturday morning hiding the evidence, I walked to the Solís theatre to attend what it was supposed to be a Sleeping Beauty performance by the Bolshoi Russian Ballet. To my astonishment the play was a film! I began feeling dizzier and dizzier and even thought I wouldn't be able to come back home. But I was! Fortunately, I counted on Ale's support, my roommate. She took care of me for the whole weekend.

An very good news arrived from Spain on Sunday, I trust the new government will reach a succesful conclusion!

Let's start by talking about the title considering it as a tribute to modernity. Uruguay has been developed as a laic country since 1919, which means a lot about its progressive way of thinking. The fact of changing religious names to public holidays gave me a real thrill for unexpected. From my point of view, every government should have been done with this traditional "link" in XXI century, and here they take an advantage of nothing less than 100 years!

Beside this consideration, our plans during this week couldn't have turned out better! We departed on a coast trip from Montevideo to Santa Teresa. To begin with, we visited Pablo Atchugarry Foundation, and after having risked our lives crossing a ramshackle bridge and going for a walk by the quiet streets of Garzón, we reached Valizas at sunset.

The next day will remain in my top of mind for a long time. I'll never forget the walk from Valizas to Cabo Polonio across the river and sand dunes in such adorable company and beneath an ending summery sun. I ignore if this place is appreciated as one of these energetic spots all over the world, but it must be. At least I felt a very special peace of mind the whole day!

On Thursday we drove to Punta del Diablo and Santa Teresa, which I found very similar to many sets of Lost, and the other half of the grupo returned to Montevideo. The rest of us plunged into deep Uruguay on our way to Cañada de los Cuervos, where we camped for a night.

Getting known some of my fellows better was a delight, we shared time, duties, experiences and conversations that would be out of the question in any other situations.

Unfortunately, I have no amazing adventures to tell about this week. My academic and laboral duties claim from the other shore of the ocean as if they were just in front of me, so I had to stay at home greater part of the time. For that reason, I fully appreciated our meeting in the Rambla at sunset!

I have made many efforts and worked hard for the purpose of leaving in Turismo week without no more worries than having fun in the company of my Lapassion mates. Saturday morning I went out for a while and when I came back home I realized that, after loosely a month, neighbourhood's dogs don´t bark at me anymore. I smiled at myself and felt very excited for being a tinny part of this wonderful city.
