I’m in love with Montevideo, it’s a beautiful city with a lot of things to do and places to go.
It’s being a challenge to live in a city where I don’t speak or understand the language. Spanish is similar to Portuguese, but I still have difficulties understanding some words and expressions. On the other hand, I’m learning a lot, not just about the culture here, which is very similar compare to where I live, but also about the language. My colleagues are helping me a lot with the language and teaching me some "survival" words.
About the course, we were introduced to other university professors who will work with the group for the next weeks. Now we are divided as teams and it’s time to start working on the Project.
We chose to work with the theme “Children’s Health and Nutrition” and to beggining to understand what we could do to help in this subject, we made a few interviews with parents, children and professionals of health.
